One individual recently stated that, without warning, several bookmakers closed out his sports betting accounts with them and, in addition, banned him from accessing their content, despite the fact that he had only been with them for approximately two months. In addition, there were other bookmakers who decided to limit his stakes to amounts that he considered to be ridiculously small. This has been even more common with the recent advent of sports betting software providers such as the like of Pay per head companies.
It’s important to note that bookmakers are more than free to choose whatever clients they wish. Furthermore, any accounts that they feel do not represent their business model well enough can be canceled by them. Pay per head companies usually will allow for this as long the bookie settles all figures with the player before stopping the relationship.
However, the big question is why exactly do they take these kinds of actions in the first place?
